Dr. Margit Mueller, vet and one of the world's leading falcon specialists

For  her doctoral thesis Dr. Margit Mueller went from Bavaria to Dubai in 1999 where she received the offer to open a falcon clinic.  Since 2001 she is now managing the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital. To be a female vet and falcon expert in the male-dominated society of the emirate wasn't easy. The falconers and the staff of the hospital weren't used to see a woman  as a veterinarian and manager. But she proofed them wrong and is today highly accepted and appreciated for her work even far beyond the borders of the emirate.
